Pandit Shri Ram Chamoli ji is a Sarola Dravid Brahmin of the Chamoli caste from Dev Bhomi, Uttarakhand, India. Those who belong to the Brahmin community of twelve groups The Chamoli caste plays an important role in the world's biggest and longest journey, Nanda Devi Rajjat.

Shri Ram Chamoli ji was born in Ghuddaursun Pipli village under the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. His father and grandfather have also been among the leading scholars of ritualism and astrology in Uttarakhand, India.

After Madhyamik from the Vedic school Jwalpa Dham Sanskrit Vidyalaya, due to family economic reasons, the rest of the education was done at the Distance Education University IGNO, where he obtained a graduation in literature. After taking separate courses in astrology and rituals, he started serving Vedic ritualistic rituals and worship from Mumbai. 

He has had a very sweet experience of 25 years with every section of society. Today in Bollywood too, famous actors Salman Khan, Chunky Pandey, Kumar Gaurav, producer Atul Agnihotri, music composer Sunil Patni, famous actress Madhurima Tuli, etc. have an important role in the worship of many Bollywood actors as the head priests.
